About Us
SM Sports is an exciting new venture designed to recognise just how far the original cricket business has come since it was launched in July 2012.
10 years on the UK market has embraced the SM cricket brand, representing premium quality and excellent value. We will take these important measures into our next generation of sports products, working closely with our partner TGI in Holland.
Based in brand new buildings in Market Deeping we are now able to showcase these products in our showroom. It is from here that our business has expanded to all corners of the UK and over the last 12 months a very successful launch in Northern Ireland.
Working closely with our partner company Make It Yours (UK) Ltd which provides us with Embroidery and print services we will add new sports to the portfolio as fast as it is possible. This partnership is critical to the delivery of quality and a high level of customer service. We occupy the same buildings so speed of delivery to our customers is important.
Where possible we will continue to engage with leading professionals in all our selected sports.
Naturally, with our new ventures, we will be hoping that the local clubs support us in getting SM Sports up and running.
Make it Yours
The business was originally started when we were looking for an embroidery company for cricket wear and nobody was able to help. All the embroidery companies we contacted would only take large orders or they weren’t equipped to do small orders for personal needs, only business needs.
The same thing happened again when we need some stickers and labels created for an upcoming event, we didn’t want over 500 stickers and labels yet everywhere we went that was the minimum order for stickers and labels. And, when we went to have a trophy engraved we couldn’t find anywhere that would do it for a reasonable price so we felt there was a massive need for an embroidery company, a printing company and a trophy company that could supply smaller businesses as well as larger businesses and help people needing one off items too.
Here at Make It Yours we love a challenge so we decided to take on all three businesses to offer a one stop shop for all our customers’ embroidery, printing and trophy needs and we are thrilled that the business has grown year on year through mainly repeat businesses, word of mouth and recommendations. We feel this is because we take pride in offering high quality products, excellent customer service and very competitive prices.
